The critical exponent for the damped wave equation in the Heisenberg group

abstract: In this talk, I will consider the semilinear damped wave equation in the Heisenberg group with power nonlinearity. Goal of the talk is to show that the critical exponent for this semilinear equation is the Fujita exponent 1 + 2Q, where Q is the homogeneous dimension of the Heisenberg group. Based on a joint work with Vladimir Georgiev.
