seminar: Doubled Teichmuller spaces and 3D gravity
speaker: Vladimir Fock (Brown University)abstract: For any cluster variety we associate a symplectic variety -- the double. It is glued out of standard cotangent bundles to tori. The gluing maps are generated by certain version of the dilogarithms, which can be considered as classical versions of the 6j symbols. When applied to the Teichmueller spaces this construction gives a classical field theory which can be interpreted as a certain version of the 3D gravity. The construction can be also quantized using the quantum dilogarithms.
