Diophantine conditions of interval exchange maps
speaker: Dong Han Kim (Dongguk University)abstract: Diophantine condition of irrational numbers have several equivalent arithmetical characterizations by the continued fraction algorithm as well as several equivalent characterizations in terms of the dynamics of the corresponding circle rotations. In this talk, we investigate how to generalize Diophantine conditions to interval exchange maps and the relations among them.
