Osculation of curves and some arithmetic problems (30')
speaker: Pietro Pirola (Università di Pavia)abstract: We will discuss some classic osculation problems about the projective geometry of complex algebraic curves. The arithmetic nature of these questions comes out by using a method of Kaji. We present the case of P3 (joint work with M. Bolognesi) and of P4 (work of Corvaja and Zannier)
