Weighted Norm Inequalities for Pseudo-Differential Operators Defined
speaker: David Rule (Maxwell Institute and Heriot-Watt University)abstract: We study pseudo-differential operators defined via amplitudes which are only measurable in the spatial variables. We obtain almost sharp results concerning their boundedness on weighted Lp spaces by proving point-wise estimates in terms of the Hardy-Littlewood maximal function. Despite the almost sharpness of the general result, a stronger result can be obtained in special cases. This is joint work with Nicolas Michalowski and Wolfgang Staubach.
